How-to: Stop receiving emails from Facebook when someone Shares one of your posts

It appears that Facebook has added some new “features” to help keep people more connected once again (that was SchaOn’s attempt at sarcasm… did it work? LOL)…

So, how do you turn this off?

Go to: Account Settings > Notifications (https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=notifications) > “Links”, then uncheck ‘Shares something you posted”… and don’t forget to click SAVE CHANGES.
